Behind our 1891 Victorian home, near the carriage house, is an old fashioned hydrangea. No fancy colors, just big white blossoms that start off green, then later weather to a lovely fragile pink. The leaves of this hydrangea are wider than other hydrangeas, and have deep veining, which I have captured the impression of some of the tiniest leaves as they emerge in the spring.
I have recreated this hydrangea's leaves in .999 fine silver and added a .925 twining vine bail of sterling silver. My unique design, this is an elegant pendant with lots of presence, and can be worn so many ways. The bail will fit over approximately 5mm, but I can enlarge it on request to fit your pearls or beads. The pendant measures about 2-1/4" long including the bail. It has been patinated/oxidized to bring out the veining details and polished to a rich shine. Each is hand made, so please allow for slight variations.
Available with or without patina...please let me know what you prefer.
