When I lived in Middlburg, Virginia, one of my neighbors and friends introduced me to the oak leaf hydrangea. It is a woody hydrangea, with cinnamon peeling bark that is lovely in the winter. It has lovely panicles of off white flower bracts tinged with pink and green...simply lovely.

These leaves has been recreated in .999 fine silver. They swing from .925 sterling silver ear wires and have been polished and patinated to bring out the depth and detail.

These earrings measure around 3/4" wide and a little over 1" tall, including ear wires. Also available shiny, shown in the last photo.
