When I search for stones, I look for ones that speak to me, that evoke something that resonates with my love of nature. This incredible piece of rhodochrosite has incredible layers of petals, in every shade of pastel pink to rose to watermelon pink.

This beautiful piece of rhodochrosite looks like flowers, the sun shining through overlapping petals highlighting the colors from pale to rich .  

I paired the stone with hand-made cherry blossoms in sterling silver, complete with exuberant stamens. The pendant has three cherry blossoms that echo the petals in the stone, with a pair of leaves to balance the piece. It is completed with a twisted wire and bail. 

The bail is an enhancer, which snaps open to allow you to put it over large chains, omegas, etc.

This is a one of a kind piece! 

The pendant is about 2-1/4" long, and 1-1/2" wide. The back is signed and dated, and marked with .925 for the sterling. It also has a cutout of a heart, for the love and joy with which it was made.
